In this case we had an extensive conversation with the director Brent, We talked about how the breakfast would run and the type of images to capture.
Brent is not the first business owner to know that he would like the event covered by a professional photographer however he wasn’t quite sure of the type of shots that he needed, this is where our experience counts.

The Biz Photography supplied one professional photographer for this 2 hour breakfast event.
As per our usual practice our professional photographer was on site and ready to shoot 20 minutes prior to the arranged booking time. This is normal, it’s part of our plan and is done to allow time for any unforeseen travel delays. It also gives the photographer time to check out the room, make contact with the organisers, check out the lighting and vantage points.
Our photographers always turn up with two completely separate camera set ups. To photograph close up group shots and to photograph faraway candid shots. By having two cameras set up it allows for a fast seamless workflow, you’re not having to swap over different lenses onto a single camera body, this way you can cover the entire event with a certain amount of spontaneity.
All of our event photographers have many years of experience photographing events and more importantly interacting with people at events to bring out the best in them on the day.
Post production at The Biz Photography is kept in house.
The Biz Photography takes care of all post production in house, we do not out source it to overseas image editing companies. We decide on what to do with the images to get the best result for our clients.
Typically at events the lighting will always be mixed, part of our post production practice is to always adjust individual areas of the photograph. Which includes colour balance and exposure, thus highlight the subject.
Often it involves lightening peoples faces and darkening backgrounds.
Events are photographed using a higher iso setting on the camera this can lead to noisier images, you won’t see any noise in the images photographed by The Biz Photography. We only use high end professional cameras and lenses.
Specialised noise reducing software used during post production eliminates the small amount of noise which may be produced during the image capture process
Delivery is guaranteed within 1 week of the shoot. With events we generally deliver a dozen or so images to our clients within 12 hours for their social media.
Images are presented in separate folders. As print ready files and email/web ready files are then delivered via dropbox. Files can then be download to your desktop or mobile device. We keep the folders backed up for you on dropbox for a period of 12 months free of charge.
